Police investigating possible homicide on Indianapolis' north side

Police are investigating a possible homicide in the 3200 block of North Capitol Avenue after finding a man shot to death Saturday morning.

At 8:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the scene after a report of a death investigation, according to IMPD Officer William Young. Police and EMS personnel found a man with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced  dead at the scene.

IMPD homicide detectives and the Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency began investigating this morning. No other information about suspects or the victim had been released as of Saturday afternoon.
