Meijer has opened a 155,000-square-foot superstore in Westfield at State Road 32 and Spring Mill Road featuring scan and shop technology, pick-up and delivery.

The store is the retailer’s 15th location in the Indianapolis metro area and the fourth to open in five years, according to a news release. Meijer also has stores in Noblesville and Carmel.

The new Meijer has a pharmacy, clothing department, baby section and large pet department, with 200 animal toys and 500 types of food and treats.

Indiana 12- to 15-year-olds can now get a COVID-19 vaccine. Here’s what to know.

“This new store reinforces our ongoing commitment to serving the needs of Hamilton County at a time when everyone is looking for a one-stopping experience,” Meijer President & CEO Rick Keys said in a news release.

Customers will be able to use a shop and scan feature, which allows them to scan items with a iPhone and bag them as they shop. Home delivery and curbside pick-up will also be offered.

Company officials said several Coronavirus safety measures will be in place, including Plexiglas barriers at check-out counters and a mask requirement.
