Johnson County Sheriff's deputies searching for missing Greenwood teen, John Earl Blanford

Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a teen boy who has not been seen since Saturday afternoon.

John Earl Blanford, 15, was last seen leaving his house in the Smith Valley area about 4 p.m. on a purple BMX bicycle. When he had not returned by 10 p.m., his legal guardian contacted police.

Blanford is 5’9″ and 210 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a gray Champion hoodie and gray Nike sweats.

Anyone who has information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Johnson County Communications Center at 317-346-6336 and refer to case number J21006393.
