Police took part in what the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department called an “officer-involved shooting” around 6:30 p.m. Friday.

No officers were injured, according to a 7:30 p.m. news release from the department. The release did not say if anyone else was injured.

The incident took place in the 3800 block of Red Mill Place on the city’s northeast side.
