Police are investigating a death after a boater found a body in the White River, by 16th Street and Lafayette Road, said Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Shane Foley.
No criminal activity is suspected, he said.
Marion County Coroner’s Office and homicide detectives responded to the call at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Foley said.
Police did not share any identifying information about the dead man. Foley said he did not know know when he died.
