On 19 May 2018, Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in a picture-perfect wedding at St George’s Chapel, Windsor. From the flowers to the starry guest list, the day was quite the spectacle, with no detail overlooked. One memorable sight was the flock of six sweet bridesmaids and three page boys, who almost stole the limelight from the Duke and Duchess themselves.

The girls wore white, while the boys donned smart black outfits – mirroring Meghan and Harry’s own respective ensembles. Clare Waight Keller, the designer behind the Duchess’s Givenchy bridal gown, also designed the six bridesmaids’ dresses in the Givenchy Haute Couture Atelier in Paris. Crafted from the finest ivory silk Radzimir, with charming short puff sleeves, each dress was hand-finished with a double silk ribbon sash, tied at the back in a bow. The girls also donned adorable white leather Aquazurra shoes, monogrammed with their initials and the wedding date, which were then gifted to them by Meghan to remember the day.

The four page boys’ uniforms, meanwhile, were modelled on the Blues and Royals frockcoat – an old regiment of both Prince Harry and his best man, the Duke of Cambridge. Both the brothers fittingly donned their adult equivalent of the uniform on the day. The page boy outfits, meanwhile, were made from blue doeskin, in a single-breasted style with a stand-up collar, finished with figured braiding in the regimental pattern. The braiding was downscaled especially for the boys – and would otherwise have reached beyond their shoulders. Each page also had their initials embroidered in gold on their shoulder straps as a remembrance of the special event. The uniforms were made by Dege & Skinner tailors, of London’s Savile Row.

The 10 chosen boys and girls were selected from the children of Harry and Meghan’s close friends and family. Read on to discover more about them all.
