Southwest Indiana is fortunate to have several young professional organizations in existence, each of whom are quite enthusiastic about developing area young professionals. In May 2006, delegates from these organizations attended The Chamber’s Inter-City Leadership Visit to Cincinnati. While there, the delegates were able to meet with their peers from Cincinnati who had formed a group called Give Back Cincinnati. Using this formula, the delegates decided to begin Give Back Tristate (GBTS). GBTS is not-for-profit organization that strives to improve and beautify our respective communities by uniting area young professionals and the groups that they belong to, through monthly philanthropic activities. GBTS serves as an umbrella organization and keeps the area young professional groups connected through service. For more information about area young professional organizations, please see the links to the side. For more information about Give Back Tristate, please visit www.givebacktristate.com. |
