Nighttime entertainment is abundant in Downtown Evansville.  Located on the bend of the Ohio River in Evansville, Casino Aztar is a 2,700 passenger floating casino boat that features hundreds of slots and the hottest gaming action in the Midwest! Just across the street from the casino is Aztar’s recently completed $40 million multi-venue entertainment destination, called The District.  The District includes Jillian’s Billiard Club and Rí~Rá Irish Pub & Restaurant as well as Le Merigot Hotel and Blush Ultralounge and Tapas Bar.  Le Merigot Hotel is a coolly sophisticated, intimate 100-room boutique hotel.
