Deaconess Health System
Deaconess Health System is a
premiere provider of health care services in southwestern Indiana,
western Kentucky and southeastern Illinois. The system includes five
hospitals, located in southern Indiana: Deaconess Hospital, an acute
care facility; The Women’s Hospital, serving the needs of women
and infants; Deaconess Gateway Hospital, an acute care facility;
Deaconess Cross Pointe, a behavioral health hospital; and HealthSouth
Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital, specializing in comprehensive
medical rehabilitation. Also included in the system are a freestanding
cancer center, a health system and physician owned managed care network
of preferred hospitals and doctors, two ambulatory surgery centers, 14
ambulatory care sites, two urgent care facilities and multiple
partnerships with other health care providers.
St. Mary’s Health System
St. Mary's is a faith-based
healthcare ministry encompassing numerous health facilities throughout
the Tri-State, including: St. Mary's Medical Center, St. Mary's
Hospital for Women & Children and St. Mary's
Rehabilitation Institute in Evansville, Indiana; St. Mary's Warrick in
Boonville, Indiana; and the Seton Health Corporation of Southern
Indiana, a for-profit entity that includes facilities such as St.
Mary’s Breast Center, St. Mary's SurgiCare and St. Mary's At Home.
A member of Ascension Health, the nation's largest Catholic-sponsored,
not-for-profit health system, St. Mary's is one of the largest employers
in Southern Indiana.
Welborn Clinic
Welborn Clinic is the
Tri-State’s largest multi-specialty physician group with more
than 100 doctors and healthcare providers in 30 medical and surgical
specialties, and delivers care in nine locations.
Vanderburgh County Medical Society
Serving as physician advocates, the Vanderburgh County Medical Society (VCMS)
is dedicated to promoting the art and science of medicine, to
supporting physicians in all their endeavors; to encouraging fellowship
among physicians; to working with the Indiana Medical Association to
enact medical education in the greatest public interest; and to educate
the community concerning the commitment of physicians to their
patients.
