The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana holds several special events each year to provide its membership the opportunity to interact with elected representatives. Southwest Indiana Day at the Statehouse
The Chamber hosts a day-long event in Indianapolis that provides attendees with briefings on policy issues from state leaders, a tour and visit to the statehouse, scheduled meetings with legislators and a reception with state elected/appointed officials.

Governor's Report to the Business Community
This breakfast/luncheon is an opportunity for the Governor of the State of Indiana to interact with leaders of the business community and relay his/her vision for the state of Indiana.

Mayor's Report to the Business Community
This breakfast/luncheon is an opportunity for the Mayor of Evansville to interact with leaders of the business community and relay his/her vision for the City of Evansville and the region as a whole.

Pre-Legislative Session Event
The Chamber unveils its public policy agenda for the year at this event and invites our region's state delegation to interact with leaders of the business community before the next legislative session.


Each year, The Chamber hosts Southwest Indiana Day at the Statehouse. Attendees were given the opportunity to speak one-on-one with area state legislators, including Indiana State Senator Vaneta Becker.
