Inter-City Leadership Visit to Louisville - Schedule of Events Announced
In a few short weeks, leaders from Southwest Indiana and Western Kentucky will head to the greater Louisville area in May for the 2008 Inter-City Leadership Visit. This is the fourth such trip organized by The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana and it has proven to be a valuable tool for creating positive change in our region.
With each visit our leaders bring home new ideas, new energy, new focus and a new commitment to improve the future of our region.
The concept of an Inter-City Leadership Visit is simple: invite a delegation of our community’s decision makers to engage in dialogue with their counterparts in another high-performing community. Success stories in cities all across the country can be traced back to Inter-City Leadership Visits.
The greater Louisville area was selected primarily due to a number of factors, including its regional approach to economic development, unified local government and the recently launched construction of a new downtown arena.
The Inter-City Leadership Visit will take place May 21 – 22. Your Chamber is putting the finishing touches on a high-powered agenda as follows:
