Regional Sustainability Conference - Speaker Bios
David Wills, Hafer Associates David Wills has more than thirty years of experience with Hafer Associates and is the Vice President of the firm. He is also the managing principal of the Owensboro, Kentucky office, Collignon & Nunley / Hafer Associates. In 1978, he graduated from Ball State University with Bachelors of Architecture and Environmental Design Degrees. Since then, David has been the lead on numerous Architecture, Planning and Interior Design projects. Recently, his focus has been on Higher Education, Health Care and Corporate Architecture as well as Historic Restoration and Adaptive Reuse. David’s primary project responsibilities are design, planning and programming. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and speaks to many groups promoting Sustainable Design. His community and professional involvement include: President of the Newburgh Historic Preservation Commission, the American Institute of Architects, Board Member of the Indiana Architecture Foundation, Adviser for the Southwest Indiana Historic Landmarks Foundation, the Southwest Indiana Chapter of the US Green Building Council and the past President of the Evansville Chapter, Construction Specifications Institute. Recent major projects include: the David L. Rice Library, the University Quadrangle and the Business and Engineering Schools at the University of Southern Indiana, Vectren Corporate Headquarters, Atlas World Group Corporate Headquarters, Restoration of Preservation Hall and the Lockmaster’s Cottages in Newburgh, Indiana and Restoration of the Victory Theater and Sontag Hotel.
