Nick Lee, Endangered Species Chocolate

Nicholas Lee is Creative Development Manager for Endangered Species Chocolate (ESC), producer of the nations number one brand of all-natural and organic gourmet chocolate.  

Nicholas has helped build and broaden the definition of “endangered” to embrace the idea that all species, habitat and humanity are endangered on our planet, not simply animals on a list. Through visual creative development, Nicholas has told this story and the story of ESC to educate and inspire colleagues and consumers alike.  

As an active member in the community, Nicholas has been involved in projects with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, volunteer for the Wheeler Mission of Indianapolis, volunteer for the Peace Learning Center and a noted instructor at the Art Institute of Indianapolis. He also serves as working member and volunteers for the Endangered Species Chocolate Foundation.  

Born in Indianapolis, IN., Nicholas received his B.S in Media Arts and Technology from Indiana University as well as a certificate of Computer Science from Purdue University. Shortly after finishing his B.S, Nicholas joined Endangered Species Chocolate and has been a part of ESC since.  

While at Endangered Species Chocolate, Nicholas has grown the brand message through all forms of communication including package design, web development, collateral design, photography etc.. He has built and maintained an online presence resulting in a 200% increase in online sales since 2005 and has assisted and led ESC in multiple areas of internal and external sustainability measures.  

Along with volunteer work for the Endangered Species Chocolate Foundation, Nicholas has assisted in documenting the Ethical Trade standards and supply chain transparency for ESC in multiple countries around the globe. All of these measures re-enforcing the first project for Endangered Species Chocolate Foundation to be approved by the board of directors and launching this year.
