SBDC Helps Line up Chiropractor
Allen Wolf suffers from pain as a result of being injured in two car
bombings while a serving as a soldier in Iraq. Allen said he tried
everything for the pain, but nothing helped until he discovered Atlas
Chiropractic in Newburgh, IN.
Dr. David Bryant, D.C. is the only area Chiropractor who offers the
Atlas Orthogonal technique. Bryant opened his practice in August with
the help of the Small Business Development Center.
“The Atlas Orthogonal is a technique based on the
vertical relationship of the body, where the head is centered over the
pelvis and feet,” explained Bryant. “This positioning is established to
support the body from the stresses of gravity.”
“I was concerned about covering my pain with medication,” said Wolf. “I
wanted to correct the problem.”
Dr. Bryant’s new office on Ruffian Lane in Newburgh
has all the latest technology in chiropractic care. But getting started
wasn’t easy. That’s why he sought counseling from the SBDC. “Finding the
capital I needed to get started was a frustrating process,” said Bryant.
“I tried the conventional route, but that wasn’t working. The SBDC
helped me with my business plan. The counselors then put me in touch
with the right people and programs which helped me secure the funding I
needed to get started.”
Dr. Bryant’s business is seeing steady growth. He
hopes to one day expand with satellite offices in Owensboro and
Henderson. “I’m already helping so many people who have suffered for a
long time,” said Bryant. I have one patient who can turn his head
without pain for the first time in years. That makes me feel pretty good
too.” |
