Representation
The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana is the largest business organization in the region, representing nearly 2,000 area businesses and their employees.

We are only one of three chambers in the state of Indiana to employ a full-time lobbyist at the state capital to be a strong advocate on issues affecting our business community.

Our public policy committees tackle the tough issues that impact the area’s economic vitality. Last year, like every year, the Chamber’s lobbyist entered into the legislative session with a set of board-approved legislative priorities. When session had ended, The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana’s main legislative priorities, including the construction of Interstate 69 and local government unification, had passed. This is a testament to how strong our public policy committees and membership truly are.
