Chamber Newsletter

The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana partners with the Evansville Courier & Press to present the Chamber’s Membership Newsletter, which is embedded in the Evansville Business Journal (EBJ), a beautiful, high-gloss business magazine. With a readership that reaches over 10,000 business owners, operators and their employees in the Tri-State, the EBJ has proven to be a great vehicle for spreading The Chamber’s message to the regional business community. The EBJ provides information on local business trends, personalities and advice.

Chamber e-Newsletter

The Chamber continues to utilize one of the leading web-based e-mail marketing services in the nation, to present a highly-effective, organized and informative monthly electronic newsletter. The electronic newsletter allows The Chamber to convey time-sensitive information that cannot be included in the Evansville Business Journal. Just over 2,000 Chamber members subscribe to this monthly communication piece.

Chamber Chat is a twice monthly show hosted on Tuesday mornings on Local 7. Chamber Chat is a quick segment that allows Chamber staff members to give an update about events, initiatives or programs offered by The Chamber. Click here to view past Chamber Chat segments.

The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana’s website continues to be an important first stop for those interested in information about Southwest Indiana. Since January 2006, The Chamber’s website has generated 271,792 unique users with 501,624 page views - that’s over 1,155 unique visitors per day!

Discover Southwest Indiana iPhone App

The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana recently launched a free iPhone application. The Chamber is the first chamber of commerce in the state of Indiana to launch this type of application.  The Chamber’s “Discover Southwest Indiana” app has seven featured links, including the following:  Southwest Indiana Events; CCSWIN Marketplace; Business Directory; Public Policy on Twitter; Chamber CEO on Twitter; Employment; Become a Member; and Contact Us.

Calendar of Events

The Chamber publishes a Calendar of Events each year and distributes it to over 5,000 members.  With over 100 Chamber events and 60 SBDC events each year, this calendar serves as a great way to keep our members informed of each month's events.  Sponsorships are available in this publication.

Community Profile & Resource Guide

The Chamber partnered with Community Link to publish the Southwest Indiana Community Profile & Resource Guide. This serves as an engaging and persuasive publication that communicates the quality of life in our community. The publication is the main marketing tool used by The Chamber to secure family and business relocation to Southwest Indiana. It includes entertaining and informative editorial material and captivating photography. In addition, the magazine includes a directory with information about all Chamber member firms, including phone, fax, e-mail and contact person. Images of Southwest Indiana is distributed to over 15,000 readers.

Member Story Testimonials

The Chamber partnered with WatchEvansville.com to host its own Chamber Channel. This Channel features video content about Chamber events, initiatives and programs, including Campaign Videos of all local candidates, a short video about the benefits of Chamber membership, testimonials and much more. The Channel can be accessed on The Chamber’s homepage or on WatchEvansville.com.
