ATHENA Awards Nominations Now Being Accepted

The ATHENA Award recipient is an individual recognized not only for her own professional excellence and community service, but also for actively and generously assisting women in the attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills.  The value of this mentoring is immeasurable.  If you know someone who fits the criteria, please click here to nominate no later than July 5, 2010.  Nominations will not be accepted after the deadline.  

The ATHENA Award is not exclusive to Evansville, Indiana.  Since 1982 Chambers of Commerce in over 300 cities in the United States, and countries such as Canada and Russia, acknowledge women in leadership roles. This is a special opportunity to recognize those in our community who assist women to reach their full potential.  The ATHENA Selection Committee will evaluate the nominations, and the recipient for 2010 will be announced at the 20th annual ATHENA Award Luncheon to be held at the Centre in October 22, 2010.
