Chamber Surveys State & Local Candidates

While national attention is focused on who will win the White House in 2008, it is important for Indiana citizens to recognize the state and local races taking place as well.

On November 4th, citizens will have the opportunity to elect leaders that will make decisions on issues that provide direction for our state and local community.  During this election cycle, the Chamber surveyed candidates running in select contested races on the state and local level.

The survey questions were developed by members of The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana Government Affairs Committee and were based on The Chamber’s public policy agenda.

The Chamber strongly encourages public review of the candidate’s responses shown in the following pages and most importantly, asks you to vote on November 4th!
